The artistic works of Glenn Massey are a tribute to God's grace and mercy in our lives and convincing evidence to His resurrecting power and might.

Glenn was born in Southern California where he has resided since birth. His creative abilities were discovered in early grade school. He is mostly self-taught but has studied at the Scottsdale Art Institute in Arizona and the Laguna Beach Art Institute in Southern California where his emphasis was on painting, drawing, and sculpture.

What's most remarkable about Glenn is the fact that he had to learn how to master the paintbrush all over again.

In 1992, Glenn was involved in a near fatal car accident that left him paralyzed and in a coma hanging onto life by a thread. After nine long years of rehabilitation including learning how to walk, talk, eat, and sleep all over again, some of those areas continuing to be a challenge, Glenn has recaptured the love of his life. His work is truly a testimony that "All things work for the good, to those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose". The accomplishments of Glenn reflect many arduous hours of immense, emotional upheaval.

Glenn shares his testimony with you not for your pity, but for you understanding. He asks you to acknowledge the gift of life and the ability to be reborn. His paintings are impressionistic in color. However, unlike impressionism, his concern is not with conveying the impression of light and color as it acts upon the eye, but that of light as it acts upon and creates visible form and color.

Glenn Massey is an extraordinary man. His remarkable achievements are due as much to his perseverance to work as an artist, as his exceptional God given talent.

Glenn's outstanding artistry can be seen at many galleries around Southern California and soon the world at large. His work also appears in many corporate and private collections.
