Patty Terry’s paintings are a representation of European classical design. They are rich in color, ornate in texture, and enhanced with gold and/or silver leafing. Through her art, her desire is to give God’s love, forgiveness, and redemption a visual voice. The goal of each painting is to bear witness of God’s presence and encourage hope of His personal presence in our lives. Patty is also a commercial and residential decorative artist; creating one of a kind faux finishes, wall murals, and various Venetian Plaster techniques. Originally from Colorado, she is a graduate of The Institute of European Studies in Vienna, Austria and Colorado State University. She has been an art teacher in the public school system in Texas and a tour sponsor for Education First Tours, traveling throughout Europe with art students. Patty is a mother of three sons and lives in Monarch Beach, California. Her work is on display at Capo Beach Calvary Church in Capistrano Beach, California. The Maranatha Building in San Clemente, California and various commercial and residential homes in California, Texas, Colorado, and Illinois. |
