It's because people like you are becoming Children's HopeChest sponsors. The sponsors involved are responsible for changing the lives of children who have lost their parents, have been taken into state custody, or even more likely have been abandoned.

Too often, orphans feel as though they have been thrown away. Because these children live in state institutions, their school mates make fun of them. The communities around these children look at them with suspicion. The buildings they live in often lack running water and electricity. It is a grim life.

That's where you can make a vital difference. Your sponsorship of $30 per month through Children's HopeChest will help one child make the most of his education. You'll bring the hope of Jesus Christ to that child through discipleship training. Your sponsored child will receive the medical attention, and emotional support he or she needs not just to survive, but to thrive - all because you're a sponsor.

These benefits are vital to any child's development. But what makes HopeChest sponsorship so special is the completely unique role a sponsor plays in the life of an orphan. Building trusting relationships is a difficult thing for kids who have been abandoned.
